Role Overview
As a Sage 300Cloud Consultant, you will play a key role in the successful implementation, configuration, and support of Sage 300 ERP systems. You will collaborate closely with clients to assess business requirements, deliver tailored ERP solutions, and provide ongoing support and training to ensure long-term client success.
This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work remotely with occasional on-site engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Configuration
Engage with clients to understand their business needs and design ERP solutions aligned to operational goals.
Configure Sage 300 ERP modules across financials, operations, and service management to meet client-specific requirements.
Develop clear implementation strategies, documentation, and configuration plans.
Implementation
Manage end-to-end Sage 300 ERP implementations, from project scoping to go-live.
Perform testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to ensure a smooth and successful deployment.
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to meet project milestones and deliverables.
Training
Deliver effective user training to ensure confident system usage post-implementation.
Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to support user adoption and system sustainability.
Support
Provide timely and professional post-implementation support.
Investigate system-related issues, identify root causes, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
Maintain strong, long-term client relationships through consistent and proactive service delivery.
Experience & Qualifications
A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or IT.
3–4 years of hands-on Sage 300Cloud / Accpac ERP experience.
Sage 300 / Accpac certification (required).
Familiarity with Sage 300Cloud modules such as Financials, Operational, Service Management, Manufacturing, and Asset Management (advantageous).
Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and report writing tools.
Solid accounting background with a good understanding of business process flows and internal controls.
